What if blessings come through raindrops?

“But there’s a decision that I find God is asking us to make: whether we are going to choose to interpret our circumstances based on what we hold to be true about God, or whether we’re going to judge what we hold to be true about God based on our circumstances.” Laura Story
A friend shared the above quote with me. Laura and her husband have an amazing testimony. You can read about it at her website: .
This is the title track of her new CD: Blessings. As you read these words, consider the meaning.
We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

‘Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You’re near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
Creating a positive day is not done by looking at circumstances, rather by trusting God—who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is faithful.
